Suzanne Parkhurst

In life, I look for the unexpected, the non “matchiness” of an ordered life. I create art, because of all the different possibilities that can appear on the surface. I lose myself when the paint is running off the brush. The way it lays and melts into other colors and forms, and never aiming for perfection. I’m selfish in wanting to experiment with the flow of color, and find new emotions and discoveries. The process of creating and seeking the unusual again.
