Csongor Szigeti

Szigeti Gábor Csongor (born 1980 in Csikszereda, Romania) started his studies in his native town as a sculptor, than he moved to Hungary where he studied at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts (Budapest), Graphics and Intermedia Departments. In his diversified work one can find conceptual art, objects, kinetic sculptures, site specific, public artworks, installations, videos. His visual language is mainly inspired by the technical media, high tech, low tech, objects from the history of technological evolution and the phenomena of nature. In his art he is preoccupied with the ideas of vision, motion, action, interaction.
Based in Budapest, working in various places.
