Paul Szimak

The advertising, business and people photographer Paul Szimák, born in Eisenstadt in 1972, has lived and worked in Müllendorf since 2004. He has been dedicating himself to art photography in his photo studio for 20 years. He passes on his photographic knowledge in his workshops and as a lecturer at the Creative Design Academy.

STATE AWARD OF PHOTOGRAPHY 2023
In 2023, Paul Szimák was awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the Digital Art / Illustration category at the State Photography Prize. With this triple victory, he is one of the best photographers in Burgenland.

VIENNA INTERNATIONAL PHOTO AWARD 2023
At this international award, three works by Paul Szimák received an Honorable Mention. Out of 10,000 submissions, he was the only photographer from Austria to achieve three placements among the best 20 works in the world.

WORLD PHOTOGRAPHIC CUP 2024
Paul Szimák was elected by the Federal Guild of Professional Photography to Team Austria, which will represent Austria at the 2024 World Photography Championships. This means that Paul Szimák is officially one of the top three digital artists in Austria.
