Tal Wagner

Tal Wagner was born in 1975 in Israel. She currently lives and creates in London.

She is a graduate of Wizo Design Academy in visual communication. Although educated principally in graphic design and worked extensively in the field for many years, her paintings exemplify self-expression and a form of escapism from technology.

While attending painting classes under the guidance of professor

John Byle, she was deeply influenced by the American abstract expressionism movement and was inspired by the intuitive process of painting.

Her main interest is the use of colour, especially colour relations and their interacting effect. In her work there is a constant aspiration for tension, harmony and inner balance.

Layers of paint; dripping colours; acrylic staining, paint scraping and automatic & subconscious creation- all these components make up her signature work. She sees her studio as a lab where
experiments can be made and played with.

There's a trial and error that leads to new exciting results every time.

Her works have a sense of movement, complexity and strong

1996-2000 Graduate the course Graphic Design at Wizo Canada college in Haifa, Israel.

2004 - 2008 Attended a post qualification art course with artist John Byle, Tel-Aviv, Israel.
