Me/My work: funny, colorful, gritty, dramatic, transparent, intense, reflective and authentic.

I draw, paint and do photography. In the ordinary I find the extraordinary. I earned 2 Art scholarships from St. Petersburg College. I spent 5 years as a professional photographer shooting fashion and families which inspired me to paint portraits. I spent a few years shooting concerts which taught me about capturing the moment.

I enjoy taking pictures when I travel like a sort of scavenger hunt. It's one of those things that keeps me right here, in the moment. I take pictures of things that speak to me on some other level. I like the idea of capturing something that cannot be duplicated. I'm attracted to the play of light and shadow. I focus on color to convey emotion whether I'm feeling intense or more subdued.

I am inspired by nature, music and art. Inspiration comes from Ernst, Duchamp, Kahlo, O'Keeffe, Oppenheimer & Sherman. My work has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Colorado and Nebraska.
