Tatyana Holodnova

I am a painter and designer based in Northern California, inspired by the refinement and beauty of the Old Masters. My work draws on the traditions of Dutch and Renaissance still life, while also seeking to bring quiet presence and depth into contemporary settings.

Using oil on canvas, birch panel, and occasionally gold leaf, I focus on careful observation, light, and composition to create works that invite the viewer to pause and reflect. Whether through a study of flowers, fruit, or portraiture, my aim is not only to capture form but also to reveal a sense of stillness and timelessness in everyday subjects.

My paintings have been exhibited in galleries across California and are held in private collections. Alongside my fine art practice, I have a background in graphic design, which has shaped my attention to detail, color, and balance. Each piece is created with care and a respect for craft, offering collectors work that can be lived with and appreciated over time.
