Taylor Gallegos

I'm Taylor Gallegos from Lafayette, Colorado, USA. I've been painting and drawing all my life. I took my first art class in high school and immediately knew I was in the right place. I went to college and got an art degree. I've been painting and drawing custom artwork ever since.

I love being active. I grew up playing sports. When I moved to Southern California in 2011 I became a surfer and was introduced to yoga. My artistic life has become a practice of creativity, hard work and a striving for continual improvement.

As for me I love people. I've been blessed with a loving family, great friends and wonderful opportunities. I've got an optimistic view of our collective future and I work to express that through my art.

As I mentioned I took my first real art class in high school. I then went to Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a double concentration in Drawing and Painting. I focused on figural and portrait painting and drawing with my studio work. In my junior year I studied abroad in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy. There I studied Italian Art History and developed my artistic style along the way. I intend to attend a graduate program at some point in the future. Time will tell.
