The art born of Teo Monova is the most authentic mirror of her reality. Undressing her soul, touching all the fibers that move her, the author brings out her best (or worst) that she finds in her mind, heart and sensitivity in the moment she lives. Full of contradictions, like her life, dominating to perfect the different ways of artistic expression, her emotions takes the face of the world she loves, or hates.

Born in Bulgaria in 1972 in the cultural capital of the north of the country – Pleven – in a family of four generations of artists.

1979 – Second prize in children’s drawing at the International Assembly “Flag of Peace” – Sofia.

1993-1997 – Studies Art and Design at the AUT, New Zealand. Academic transcript number – 9509100-C00159698-D

1998 – Group participation at the “Natura” International Student Exhibition – Melbourne.

1998 – First solitary exhibition “Enigma” at ASB-Bank – Gold Coast, Australia.

1999 – Second solitary exhibition “Blue”, “The Stairs” Gallery – Sofia, Bulgaria.

2000 – Participation at the Balkan Bianale – Varna, Bulgaria.

2000 – Collages exhibition and poetry recital at the Gallery“Ogi Art” – Pleven, Bulgaria.

2001 – Exhibition of oils and sculptures with erotic show “Scandalous” in the Central Theater of Pleven.

2001 – Guest artist of honor at the Jazz Festival – Bankya, Bulgaria.

2001 – Represents Bulgaria at the Contemporary Art Fair in Nimes, France. First prize of the jury of journalists.

2001 – Special invitation for the 20th Anniversary of the International Fair of Modern Art in Gent, Belgium.
