Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Candice grew up in the suburbs, having a knack for anything artistic. She has a strong sense of line and color, which drives her to create nonobjective work focused on encompassing the viewer in an ethereal world of colorful juxtaposition.
She developed a love of paint while attending the Ringling College of Art + Design, though her studies were originally in photography.
Using abstract expressionism as a means to convey emotion, Candice cuts out shape and form through oil, letting colors wash together and blend seamlessly.
She currently lives in Delaware with her husband Michael, and their two daughters, Lily and Ivy.
