Robert Nelson

Robert is a materialistic American artist working in Japan. He seeks to create mood in an object. He is a pre-packaged product of a human being, and is generally unremarkable.

Robert’s work is composed primarily of lifecasts which are plaster cast, and painted. Objects are attached to various base materials. Bases are either found objects reworked or bought locally and used. Fusion of organic and inorganic is a recurring theme.

Robert holds degrees in IT and Electrical Engineering as well as professional certifications which go unused, dull, and obsolete.
