I’m Tigran Vardikyan, a painter, graphic artist, and illustrator originally from Yerevan, Armenia, now living and working in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. My artistic journey began in childhood and has evolved into a lifelong pursuit of creative expression through oil painting, satirical drawing, and illustration.
I’m passionate about combining classical painting techniques with surreal, imaginative themes. In my work, I often draw inspiration from the old masters—Leonardo da Vinci, Velázquez, and Rembrandt—whose influence can be seen in my attention to detail, light, and composition.
Beyond painting, I’ve worked in animation studios, designed characters and sets, created press illustrations, and developed concepts for computer games and toys. For over a decade, I was a caricaturist and satirical artist for Dziennik Zachodni, where I built a strong reputation for sharp, expressive work.
Today, I focus primarily on oil painting, constantly exploring the fantastic and surreal, and always striving to push the boundaries of imagination and craft.
