Timo Teide

Debut exhibition of Timo Teide took place in 1984, Turku, Finland. Since then he has had several exhibitions. He has been on Finnish television and radioprogrammes as well as been interviewed by several magazines. !n 2014 He was chosen as artist of Abu Dhabi Art Hub.

Timo could be called as dissident of contemporary art. He has been looking for a deeper meaning in everything. "Why?" has been the most important question in his life. -In the prevailing stagnant society things easily start feeding themselves, Timo says. I mean that purposes and values are unclear until we are performing different acts even if we don´t know the reason. Even in the field of art this has happend.
