Timothy White

Timothy White is a self-taught artist who specializes in depicting shamanic and entheogenic themes in a magical realism style. Born and raised in India, he has lived in California and Oregon for the last forty years, where he founded and edited a small magazine, "Shaman's Drum," which documented shamanic traditions around the world. He began painting illustrations for the magazine, and he launched a career in painting after retiring.

White attended art school at the University of Oklahoma, where he studied photography and film making. However, he is primarily a self-taught painter, who works in acrylic media.

White's paintings have been shown at several shows in southern Oregon, including the Rogue Valley Art Center, the Grants Pass Art Museum, the Oasis Gallery, the Love Revolution, and the Honeysuckle restaurant.
