Tomás Hoya

Hi. I live and work in Santander, a small coastal town in northern Spain. Originally a fishing village, then a transoceanic port, later a royal summer residence, and now a port city with a tourist vocation.
I have grown up fascinated by illustration, painting, cartoons, comics, and fantasy. What was a child going to do with that background and who was also good at drawing and was recognized for it? It was marked.
One of my purposes as an artist is to try to return some of the enjoyment and joy that I have felt with the work of other colleagues, creating beautiful and inspiring images, influenced by what I have seen yesterday and today, and by the life itself that walks shamelessly in front of us displaying their charms.

I am and have always been a self-taught artist, which has been very satisfying and sometimes slow and frustrating. Crazy.
