Italian-American. Born 1959.

In 1969, Tomasso Silvestri began his career in music performance by learning
accordion, piano, percussion and composition. At an early age he expanded into multimedia performance and theatre and eventually led to the visual arts medium. His site-specific projects included a broad range of music, theatre and commercial recording projects including an elite membership as top soloist of the Field Museum Gamelan Orchestra Soloist.

In 1980 he formed new multimedia and art groups in central Europe dedicated to
avant-garde multimedia performances and commercial productions of local rock, jazz and R&B Top 40 hit bands. His songs and pop hits were recorded by the German super pop group “Trio Rio”.

In 1992 he created and launched "The Silvestri Art Directory", one of the first worldwide artist directory websites dedicated to the promotion and sales of international artists original works and replicas sold directly to online art dealers and curators.
