Tone Holmen

I was born in Tromsø, a town in Northern Norway, north of the Arctic Circle. My work is dealing with climate change, maps, geography and landscape.I am influenced by experiences of the landscape where I grew up. Huge solely landscapes seen from mountain peaks are transformed into paintings or drawings with an atmospheric approach to the climate change and the melting glaciers.
