Rob Keller

Rob Keller, was born in media city Hilversum the Netherlands. I work mostly with acrylic. My inspirations are coming from Nature, People, Landscapes and Cinema.And I paint eyes in every painting I make, some you see, and some you don't. Because eyes are the mirrors of the soul. And I find them fascinating.

Rob Keller - Art painter and Pop artist.

I was born and raised in Hilversum, the media town of the Netherlands. So it was a natural choice for me that I wanted to become a pop singer. Together with my twin brother Hans, I pursued this dream and we succeeded. For many years we were well known faces and voices on television and radio, at home and abroad.

With the groups CHIPS and NUMERO UNO (produced by Bolland & Bolland) we frequently went abroad, on tour. During many of these trips I felt the need to develop my other great passion, painting. Id gone to school to become a graphic designer and had worked as an illustrator, before singing took over my professional life. So I started to take art classes, whenever I had some spare time between performances, to develop my skills as a painter.

I paint also on commission, mainly in acrylic on canvas. Ive done a lot of large format, realistic and abstract ones.
