Nicolas Tourrenc is a Norwegian-French professional photographer based in Oslo since 2002.
The process of making a photograph always starts with the light. Light forms the landscape and the mood, then the stories come along.
Nicolas Tourrenc is influenced by graphical artists like Nicolas de Staël, Hugo Pratt and Hayao Myasaki.
Applying digital technics and working with several layers Tourrenc gives the photograph an impressionistic look that emphasizes lines, planes, colors and textures.
