About Thomas Terceira

Artist statement: Collage lends itself to improvisation, spontaneity and the unexpected discovery. I begin with no final product in mind but put something down and respond to the materials and try to find images that resonate with each other. Sometimes this happens quickly but more often it takes a long time before I complete a collage.
I have always been drawn to the surrealistic, the poetic image and the dreamlike.
