Trevor is a Scottish painter working from a studio in east London. He also teaches art in London. One constant in the work is the reliance on landscape imagery and a connection to the land - it defines the content. The urban landscapes are imbued with an essence of the decay of the facades and structures of the buildings - ephemeral and vulnerable to change but, stripped back down to basic simplicity and starkness. These urban landscapes are in contrast to the wilderness images taken from solitary walks - like many Scottish artists, he is very much influenced by the natural, wild landscape of his country.

Trevor was born and educated in Scotland and specialised in drawing and painting at Gray's School of Art. He completed a Masters Degree (Art in Architecture) at University of East London. He has had a number of solo, joint and group shows and open studio events and has work in private collections in the UK and abroad.
