Uiku Kaya Karabiber

She has been involved with painting since childhood and has a colorist understanding and uses some colors like red, green, orange, blue, white and purple much more than the others. She mainly deals with women and nature in her paintings and also paints some experiences and objects belonging to the culture she lives in with her unique style. She designs directly on canvas.

She works on metallic objects from a bird's eye view and this style is a first in the world. Although the subjects changes time to time, she currently focuses on figurative works and uses the colors as they are without distorting them. She continues her work in her own workshop.

She graduated from the Faculty of Education, Department of Graphic Art in Buca/Izmir.
