Uma Bardhan

Smt Uma Bardhan, born 1945, is an eminent artist from Kolkata , West Bengal specialises in figurative paintings / landscapes in water color on silk, Oil on canvas & recently Water soluble oil painings on canvas . She is also working in various other mediam like pastel / mixed media on silk, paper , board & canvas.

She has worked under eminent artists like Late Makhan Dutta Gupta in Oil color and Sree Maniklal Banerjee (ex. Professor of Govt. College of arts,Calcutta in Water Colors)

ii) Diploma in Fine Arts,Birla Academy of Art & Culture, West Bengal.

i). First Prize in Water color section from Govt. of West Bengal,in
the year 1986.
ii) Certificate of Merit in Water color from Oriental Arts Socity in the year 1987.
iii) Certificate for Workshop from Govt. of West Bengal in the year 1987.
