...Valentine is a photographer and contemporary artist who practices with multiple media, and utilizes current technology. His work emphasizes a contrast between surface and image. Careful consideration of imagery through choice of color, form and balance is subverted through handling of surface. Chosen images appear nearly perfect, but the harmonious composition is disrupted by cracked and ripped textures, which ultimately reveals the fragility between mental perception and reality...

Hamish Montgomery

Valentin has a master degree in Physical Electronics but in the middle of his carier shifted to Art Creating.
Studied art compositions and art history to become artist who uses new technology. He has been involved with Computer Imagining since 1992.
For now he lives just next to ocean beach, in small village Kennedy's Bay, Coromandel, New Zealand.



... I'm just an artist who uses most any medium available to him to create an art: Paintings, film and digital photography. I have managed to interbreed fine art and digital technology that combine old pictorial photography themes, contemporary art and other fascinating effects...
