Valerio Salvadori


Valerio Salvadori was born in 1966 in Florence. From 1980 until 1985 he attended the Art Institute of Florence, where he received the diploma of Master of Art in Gold Smithing and immediately after worked in the laboratory of several Florentine gold smiths. From 1989 in Florence, in his own gold smith Atelier, V.M. Preziosi, his dedication was primarily to the design and realization of jewelery, giving great importance to the use of enamels. In 1992 he initiated an activity of design applied not only to jewelery, but also to fashion accessories and as complement to furniture. From 1999 on he has dealt with the idealization of jewels on the computer; from this approach comes the inspiration for jewels and fashion accessories from the collection Redò. His mastery of traditional artistic techniques, a philosophy of work in evolution, an attention to contemporary art and the world of fashion became the determinate components of the work of Valerio Salvadori. The artist’s style ican be identified by his personal eclectic creativity, which consents his passage from the rigidity of geometry to the warmth of the figure.
