I found my initial experience of traditional painting in Korea ” terribly limiting”, so I enrolled in the Beaux-Arts in Lyon, France then began a journey researching new forms of artistic expressions, using many different materials.

Persistence led me to discover and work with very fine fabrics and thread, telling a story of harmony, disorder, while capturing a huge range of expressions, depth, emotions and metaphors using vibrant colors displayed within the deep labyrinth of fabrics.

My work was successfully displayed, appreciated at many exhibitions, including 100 collective exhibitions and 20 personal exhibitions globally as well as multiple exhibitions across France.

I recently have returned to painting - my first love. My current visual journey expresses today’s digital world as an avalanche of social media influences. My visual statements are sometimes delivered with absolute simplicity, even childlike charm, others with the bright colors incorporate bold statements of well-known digital symbols that people see every day everywhere and understand them unconsciously.
