Vickie Aurore

Vickie Aurore was born and raised in the Paris area. From the age of three, she decided to pursue a career in illustration and received support from several artists in her family throughout her childhood. After moving to Orléans at the end of middle school, she chose a high school specializing in literature and visual arts. Having obtained her Literary Baccalaureate with a major in Visual Arts, with honors, she chose to turn to Applied Arts, with the aim of moving towards Children's Illustration, Comics and Character Design. Back in the Paris region, she was admitted through competitive entrance exams to an upgrade class for the Applied Arts (MANAA), and then to Pivaut School in Nantes. Upon leaving school, and wishing to deepen her knowledge of 2D and 3D computer graphics and character design, she successively joined the E-Tribart Institut, Lignes et Formations and Schoolism schools. Continually training in the latter, she received instruction from many renowned artists such as Jason Seiler, Djamila Knopf, Stephen Silver, Devin Elle Kurtz, Bobby Chiu, Daniel Arriaga, and Wouter Tulp.
