my focus lies on text-based art. i explore the relationship of text and image. combines of abstract painting and text interest me as much as "pure" text, visual poetry and collages. i work associative, trying to invite the observer to make up stories, invent narratives and images of the world, strengthening the individual power of imagination.
autodidact. first i studied performing arts at Akademie der Künste Ulm, École Jacques Lecoq Paris and attended a pedagogical training in acting, dance and performance in Hamburg. Afterwards i studied art history (master`s degree), comparative litetrature and german philology at Free University Berlin.
