Victoria Johnson

Victoria Johnson is an American artist and painter. Victoria was an organizational consultant who managed commercial sample libraries for designers and dealers in the Seattle area. She returned to her professional studio practice in 2000 producing artworks for gallery exhibitions, hotel projects and art consultants.

To discover Victoria Johnson is to discover a visionary with a sensory approach to experiential color, concept and form. It is said, her paintings evoke the natural world, the land, water, sky, often with reference to iconography of West Coast Indian country. The act of painting, the location, the form, the play of variables, often allude to this subject matter. She's a romantic structuralist and conceptualist driven by her passion. Her color palette and imagery is energetic, luscious, and urban.
