Vimukthi Samaraweera

I’m one of pioneers of Expressionism movement in contemporary modern art in Sri Lanka. I was graduated in Faculty of Visual Art, University of Visual and Performing Arts, Sri Lanka. I inspired by David Hockney, Mark Rothko, George Michale Basquit,Vinsent Wan Goh and Pablo Picasso. My master pieces, are among many private collections around the world. I had done more than four solo exhibitions and 20+ group exhibitions in Sri Lanka & overseas.

In my masterpieces, every brush stroke on the canvas and every dab of color introduced tells a story, A story of you, world and everything in-between which never repeats
