VIVIAN LIANG is an artist born in Taiwan, majored in Fine Arts at the National Normal University, and upon graduation taught arts and crafts in high school. After her arrival in the United States in the mid 1980s Ms. Liang pursued graduate work at Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles, California.
Being an all-around artist, Ms. Liang has painted a wide variety of subjects and has worked with several different media. Her works reflect not only the natural beauty of landscape but color and texture are expressed exceedingly well on paper and canvases. Combining her own original technique with traditional watercolor, she has created her own unique style.
Ms. Liang has held numerous one-woman shows in Taiwan, Japan, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and New Jersey. Her works hang in public and private collections throughout the United States as well as Taiwan and Japan.
