I wander through fractal worlds capturing "snapshots". My work is not algorithmic art, nor exactly fractal art, I use them, yes, to fantasize... my art !!!
FRACTAL ART
If you want to learn more about fractal art. I identified and share with you the 20% most important learnings on this topic, which will help you understand 80% of it. Namely:
1. **What are fractals?:
Fractals are geometric objects that show self-similarity at different scales, meaning they look similar or identical no matter how close or far away you look at them.
2. **Self-similarity:
The key property of fractals is self-similarity, meaning that a fractal contains smaller copies of itself at different levels of detail.
3. **Fractals in nature:
Many natural phenomena exhibit fractal patterns, such as coastlines, snowflakes, and tree structures.
4. **Fractal generation:
Fractals can be generated using mathematical algorithms and computer programs. Some of the best-known fractals are the Mandelbrot set and the Sierpinski triangle.
5. **Mandelbrot set:
It is one of the most famous fractals and is created through iterations of mathematical equations. Its shape is highly detailed and complex.
6. **Sierpinski triangle:
It is a simpler fractal, formed by repeatedly removing equilateral triangles from an initial figure.
7. **Coloration and representation:
Fractals are often depicted in color to highlight their structure...
