WacłAw Gibaszek

Vaclav Gibaszek (Aborgen) was born in 1953. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Graduated with honors in 1983, defended at the Faculty of Painting, in prof. Tadeusz Dominik. Since 1984, for two years he was granted by the Ministry of Culture and the Arts. In parallel with studies and after graduation repeatedly presented solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions, yielding numerous awards, such as the third prize in the "Province", Wloclawek, 1984; UNESCO award in the competition for the poster "Against the War" in 1984; Third Prize in the National Competition for Plastic work (on paper) to them. Bronislaw Jamontt "Polish Impressions", Torun 1987; gouache award in the competition for "Art'95, New York 1995; award at the exhibition "Watercolour from the Vistula", Wloclawek 1995. His works were among issues in Warsaw, Gdansk, Budapest and Tripoli Gallery in Philadelphia.
