Painter, muralist, and arts educator, dividing time between England and France. Working and exhibiting since 1994 in the UK and in France since 2001, in Paris and Lorraine region. Primarily painting, expressing the 'synaesthetics' of place. Neither landscapes nor seascapes, I call the works simply 'scapes', an anagram of 'spaces'. Exhibited painting professionally since 1994 in England and in Europe since 2001.
Paintings in collections of Deutsche Bank, Icelandic Consulate in the UK, a piece in the American Library of Congress, Washington, the Tribunal Administratif in Strasbourg (F), and also the municipal 'mairies' of Lunéville and Morhange in France.
Private collections throughout Europe, including the Balkans, Asia ( Hong Kong, Tokyo) and the USA.
Exhibitions in the UK include in London the AAF (2010, 2009), FreshArt (1994) and Not the Turner Prize at Mall Galleries, London (2004). Important other UK shows include the Birmingham Arts Festival (1999), The Ropewalk, Barton (2005) , 20-21 Visual Arts Centre, Scunthorpe (2008), and currently at the Gate Gallery, NE Lincolnshire.
Important exhibitions in France at Toast Gallery and Café des Artistes, Paris, La Banque Fédérale (BFBP) Paris, O Pettit Beaubourg and l' Office de Tourisme de Metz, Vic-sur-Seille and Lunéville.
