Photographer, director & co-founder of the World Wide Tribes Heritage foundation.
A photographer by calling, Mr. Gagnadoux engages in a vast array of visual inquiry. Working as a professional for over 27 years, he had an amazing opportunity to create images addressing plethora of subjects. His ethnic works for example explore remote environments and indigenous themes drawing heavily on his extensive travels. His portraiture on the other hand sets out to capture the essence of each character type he comes in contact with.
His creative passion has led him early on to study art, photography and audiovisuals in his native France. Following formal education, he was chosen for six consecutive years as the official photographer of the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts - an official partner of UNESCO. During those years he had developed a deep interest in the customs, traditions and history of different world cultures. At the heart of his ethnic series lies his sincere wish to commemorate and preserve those cultural aspects, the ethnic peoples themselves and the environment which they inhabit.
