Willow Bader

My paintings are about the evening out: the pleasures of the night, food and wine with friends, music and dancing. I like to paint the human figure in motion –in a social setting- often with a suggested narrative- usually romantic. I paint with encaustic because it matches my working style, and the sensual surface lends itself to my subjects.
