Weijia Shi

Shi Weijia—a Famous Artist
Shi Weijia, Man nationality, was bone in December 14th, 1955.

He graduated from Department of Chinese Language and Literature of Liaoning University in 1982 and was admitted by Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 1990, receiving a master degree of fine arts. In May 1998, he became the chief representative of American Chinese Art Development Center in Beijing. In August 2002, he was appointed as the president of China Calligraphy Painting Research Institute, member of Chinese Painter Calligrapher Association and member China Artists Association. In September 2010, he was employed as the artist consultant of Times Pioneer Forum, vice-president of International (Hong Kong) Calligrapher and Painter Committee. He moved to America in December 2011. He is now the president of World Artists Association.

•In 2006, his calligraphy won first prize in “Huang Mountain Cup” National Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Contest. In May, he was listed among Modern Chinese Artistic Celebrities by China Artists Association and the Editorial Board of the Classic Books of Chinese Artistic Celebrities.
•In December 2005,he was rated as the graphic artist of the year in 2005 and Chinese Famous Graphic Artist.
In September 2001, he was rated as “Excellent Chinese Artist” by the Editorial Board of Chinese Classics.
