Yael Zahavy-Mittelman

I am a full time artist, navigating the life of an artist with the pleasure of being a mother. I love life, and my spiritual journey that mingles with my art process. I currently live in Washington State, with my husband and three amazing children.

My art is passionate and wonderful. At times bigger then life, abstract, colorful and always telling a story. Some days images will emerge into my abstracts, on other days, lines, shapes and colors will tell my story of that experience. Even though the paintings come from me, I always encourage the viewer to come up with their own story when watching my paintings.

I am a graduate of the George Washington University, where I did my M.A. In Art Therapy.
I showed my artwork in Israel, New York, the Seattle area as well as in other galleries around the US. I am currently represented by two galleries, Directors Gallery, Bainbridge Island, WA; and by Parklane Gallery, in Kirkland, WA, USA.
