Yulia Artamonova

Born and raised in Moscow, I live between Italy and Russia since 2005. Currently, I am based in Florence.

I started drawing before speaking and from that moment on I never stopped doing it.

As a child, I went to art school, where I learned the basics. But then I decided that being an artist is not a serious job and I enrolled in the accessories design faculty at Moscow State University Of Design And Technology.

After 5 years of studies, I decided that it would not be bad to improve my knowledge in the international fashion sector and I came to Italy. Three more years and I became a Fashion Accessories Designer.

Later, for several years I worked in Italian fashion houses, such as Versace Versus, Nannini, Roberto Cavalli, and finally, Salvatore Ferragamo.

It was a challenging experience, but just as unforgettable. I learned to work with shapes, different materials, and, above all, with colors.

All this time I have never stopped drawing and painting, in search of my place in art. So one day I decided to devote all my time to this.

Since then, I spend every moment with my creations, working hard and improving day by day.

My particular passion is the study of color also from a psychological point of view.
