Anastasiia Shevchenko

Anastasiia Shevchenko was born on 3 June 2002 in Dnipro, Ukraine. However, she did not begin her creative journey until the death of her aunt Yulia, who was a successful artist but left life too soon. Creativity became an outlet for Anastasiia, an art therapist who helped her to continue her aunt's work.

Too many times she heard in her direction ‘well, yes, you sure aren't an artist’, ‘don't waste your time, you're no good anyway’, but she didn't give up. A prolonged period of depression, a creative crisis and artistic materials covered in dust for six months. Therapy, psychiatry, medication. She has done the hard work to believe in herself and her dreams again. Thanks to tolerance and hard work, Anastasiia found her outlet in oil painting and graphics. She continued to create complete stories in her creations.
