In my work I like to tell stories. Whether they be inspired from conversations with friends, my own experiences, or fragments from the news, I like to rewrite them in my own words and capture them as a painting. I often incorporate flowers into my art as they help me portray a myriad of social issues depending on the context of the painting and to further highlight on the fragility and transience of life.

My artistic style is fluid with frequent use of rich colours, creating an illusionary image that looks beautiful from a distance. But nothing is perfect from close-up. By introducing subtle contravening factors, I like to call attention to urgent social themes that preoccupies the minds of many people and voice the collective troubles of the modern world.
