Younhee Yang

Born in Seoul, South Korea,I have lived in many different places - from Seoul to New York City and throughout the United States - Now I live and work in Berlin, Germany. I like to express myself in any place - wherever I am. Having lived in so many different places and having had the opportunity to get to know different cultures gave me a fresh international and independent outlook on life and current issues which shows in my artwork.My work has been strongly related to forgotten people, cultures, and it's political problems. Thus I like to represent my work as "Our Generation". Moving into the third dimension, political issues, the nature of humankind and space itself play an important role in my work.
