I am Yulep and as an artist, my passion lies in the world of abstract art, where I am free to express my emotions and feelings through bold strokes of color and contrasting hues. My art is a reflection of my multicultural background, the memories and emotions that I have accumulated throughout my life.
My journey as an artist began as a designer and then as a psychologist, but I soon realized that my true calling was to create and to let my imagination run wild. I believe that art is a form of therapy, it allows me to escape into a world of endless possibilities, a world where colors and shapes come together to tell a story, a world where emotions are translated into visual poetry.
I work mostly with acrylic paints and prefer to work on oversized frames. My process is intuitive and spontaneous, I begin with a few marks on the surface and let the colors speak to me. I dance, meditate or listen to music while painting, it helps me to tap into my subconscious and let my emotions flow through my brushstrokes.

I started college as an interior designer and graphic designer, but I switched careers and graduated with a degree in Psychology and a certification in Religious Studies. I also have a technical degree in Commercial Arts.
