My name is Yulia Cohen.

I am a contemporary fine art painter, creator.

Originally I was born in Ukraine and I moved to Israel along when I was 17 years old.

I started to paint with only acrylic on canvas. I was in love with the colours and I was experimented with different texture. After, I fall in love with oil paints since it’s totally different sense of flow, different texture and the deepness of the colours.
Today I exiting to create paintings in mixed media art technic. I drive all advantages from each of the materials I use: acrylics, oils, inks, sprays, gold leafs, oil pastels, markers etc.
For me art is story telling. I bring the vision to life in spaces such homes or offices by creating an evocative story through colours, textures and figures that are full of beauty, emotions and adventure, and more importantly soul. Each and every single project is a unique exploration of curiosity and experimentation.

I love what I do!

I create my arts expressively with confident, it means to lay down the paint with confidence. I like juicy colours and color harmony. Also I like to paint realism with abstract and realism with romantic elements portraying a dreamy atmosphere where anything is possible.
