I am a Japanese painter who works primarily with acrylic on canvas.

I am deeply drawn to the rich textures created by layering thick paint, valuing them as the very character of the painting itself.
My paintings change their expression depending on the light.

I cherish the meditative process of slowly building up layers—repeatedly setting down the brush and adding more over time.

Through a diversity of colors and imperfect forms,
I give shape to the balance of fragility and gentleness that emerges within my work.

My paintings do not explain;
