Welcome to my site!
I was born in 1971 and raised in the Netherlands. Since my childhood, i am drawn to nature, it has always inspired me to express the peace and rest that i experience in nature.
I live near by the sea, for 40 years now.
The colors and shapes in the landscape…the sea and salty air, are a great inspiration for my work.
Every time when i am painting, the proces is an exciting, mystical and surprising development. I start with an initial idea and then i search intuitively with color and form to express a perception of my inspiration source.
My paintings are mostly built up layer by layer, i use palette knifes, paint brushes and my hands.
For me painting has become a passion and inner trim!

In my late 20's, i was finding my way in working with acrylic on canvas.
In 2003, after i gave birth to my four children,i started a training on the New Academy of fine art in Utrecht (the Netherlands).
I experienced the academy as therapeutic and went through a period of artistic growth.
I painted and worked spatially, this made my work more freely and more intuitive.
There was a break in my painting work when i followed a training for emotive therapist and having my own practice at home for several years.
Since 2012 i picked up painting again..

I am selling my work for over 10 years now and most of my work is in private collections.
