Born Barranca, Colombia1963 Move to London in 1984 and now live in Falmouth, Cornwall UKThe Visual Arts have always captured his imagination and over many years he has been especially drawn to Folk and Tribal Arts from all over the world.In his work he wanted to explore his experiences and feelings of vulnerability and to look at how this condition presents itself in reaction to extreme violence in the world at large.The human responses and consequences of violence can reduce people to helpless wrecks or inspire surprising strengths and at the same time for those in control with the power - how somebody, perhaps unexpected, can become a tyrant, capable of extreme violence and cruelty. he is interested in the compelling poignancy of the moment wherever it appears in the world at present.
