The etiquette of nature is anonymous. It gives me an understanding of how I relate to all things. It helps me to see with a fuller consciousness, examining through each stroke the subtle and the stark contrast of life as drawn from a single breath. It is an understanding that clarifies eastern and western interpretations of etiquette, and through the intimate portrayal of myself as both human and animal, I begin to understand the natural versus the man-made, both reflecting on the duality that characterizes the identity of my being.

A native Chinese in the United States, I grew up in the amidst of the cultural community of west Sichuan, home to most rare and primitive lives due to the richness of the mountain ranges. The new collections are reflective of my travels, artistic relationship with the generosity, vibrance of Sichuan.
