Zoe Palmer

Zoe Palmer is a multidisciplinary artist based in London. Her practice centres on abstract and emotionally charged paintings and text-based expression. Her work embraces rawness, intuition, and champions childlike imperfection - tracing themes of memory, identity and most notably, feelings.

Influenced by Basquiat, Emin, and Richter, Palmer treats surface as a space for emotional evidence - scraped, layered, marked and written. Her process prioritises immediacy and honesty over polish, creating work that feels lived in, restless, and brutally human. Zoe is currently pursuing an experimental abstract expressionist painting and writing practice in London that focuses on unconscious artistic energy, emotional confessionary writings, and naive style mark-making and drawing.
