My work explores the way matter speaks when time transforms it. I begin with a liquid gesture — Chinese ink poured and left to follow its own course — until that fragile moment when it cracks, contracts, and breaks apart. What interests me is neither deliberate mark-making nor complete erasure, but the intermediate instant: the moment when matter gives way and reveals something of itself.
