My work begins with the human figure, but it does not aim to describe it. I am not interested in likeness or identity as something fixed. What I seek is the moment where the figure becomes unstable — where presence begins to dissolve, and something more internal emerges.
I work through distortion, erasure, and repetition. Faces are blurred, bodies fragmented, and gestures interrupted. These transformations are not acts of destruction, but of revelation. By removing clarity, I allow another form of truth to appear — one that is emotional rather than visual.
My paintings are not about representing reality. They are about confronting what is felt but rarely seen — the instability of identity, the weight of presence, and the fragile balance between appearing and disappearing.
